ABOUT US

The Women and Gender Studies Student Association has been a club at Cal State University, Fullerton for many decades. With periods splitting the  club between activism and theory centered organizations. Currently the department club added Queer Studies to acknowledge the Queer Studies minor offered and the better represent the focus and identities within the department. In 2017 the club participated in the Unity Block Party organized by Students for Quality Education (SQE) in response to Milo Yiannopoulos being invited and allowed to speak on campus despite his history of hateful language. The Unity Block Party wanted to promote real free speech and included numerous organizations from campus, Fullerton, and neighboring communities. Currently you can find the club building community and providing and outlet with our current situation in 2020.
